Why Join Tango 5?
Tango 5 is an elite unit.  We may not be the best players individually, however, as a team we are unmatched.  Our selection process is strict.  This ensures as a member you will work with only dedicated true enthusiasts of Delta Force.  We offer a fun and encouraging environment to show off your skills.  Members of Tango 5 enjoy our officers club and have access to our classified training area and documents.  If you've got the balls, apply.  Tango 5 is tourney level team.  We ranked
3rd/4th out of 16 teams in Nova Logic's Mess with the Best Tourney.
The Selection Process
Whereas most Squadrons accept all applicants Tango 5 approaches this a little more seriously.  Because of our elite status we only accept serious inquiries from qualified candidates.
  1. Complete our Minimum Requirements questionaire and fill out on-line application
  2. If selected you will asked to play in a series of DF multiplayer games for combat trials
  3. Pass hiring board

Character 
  • Reliable

Hardware

  • Registered version of Delta Force
  • Ability to play DF at least 640x400 resolution
  • Ability to play DF with 16 million colors set ON
  • Mouse player
  • 28.8 or higher modem.  56k recommended
  • P-2 233, 48 megs RAM or more
  • I meet the Hardware requirements: YesNo

Legal

  • 18 of years or older (legal reasons: i.e. officers club)
  • No criminal convictions
  • If on other DF Squad must be willing to leave that squadron
  • I meet the Legal requirements: YesNo

Schedule & Location (this is the number one hiring criteria!)

  • Ability to train, or play 3 days a week
  • Ability to play at least 1.5 hour sessions
  • Available sometime between 6 PM to 12 PM Pacific Standard Time
  • I meet the Schedule requirements: YesNo

Experience

  • Internet knowledge (IP addressing)
  • Death Match game play experience, i.e (Quake, Rainbow 6, DF, etc) 
  • TEAM Death Match game play experience (the more the better)
  • Delta Force and multiplayer NovaWorld experience
  • Scoring in the top 30 percentile
  • I meet the Experience requirements: YesNo

Skill

  • Demonstrate combat ability in all DF game type (to be arraigned) 
  • Ability to fire, aim and strafe at the same time
  • Proficiency in all DF weaponry
